a good laugh for all you twilighters who hated the movie

My friend Eden (www.eden4eva.blogspot.com) gave a perfect description of a rather "dramatic" part of the Twilight movie that made me laugh out loud, and I quote:

"I have killed people before, and I want to kill you. Every moment of the day I want to kill you!" said Edward in a freaky whisper. "I don't care" said Bella stupidly as her teeth hang out. "You need to see what I look like in the sun!" he yells. He swings her onto his back and runs up he mountain, even though you can see his legs flailing behind him. Then they are on top of the mountain. Not even in the meadows like they are supposed to be, instead they are in the mountains. So anyways...He unbuttons his shirt and walks into the sun. He turns around, his skin looks greasy, like someone smeared Vaseline all over him. "This is the skin of a killer Bella" "You're beautiful" she murmurs stupidly like an idiot.

And, Eden, you copied me so that is why I copied you!

And apparently the thing about Vanessa Hudgens auditioning for New Moon could be a rumor. They are unsure if the actress who played Rosalie was high on drugs or not when she gave the news.

SCCRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my belated thoughts on the Twilight movie

Guess who's auditioning for the part of Leah Clearwater in New Moon? Hmm, let's look at the picture. That's whats-her-face... oh wait, that's Miss Disney, VANESSA HUDGENS!!!!!! I, for one, think she is too much of a Miss Disney to play a role in a freakin vampire/werewolf movie as a WEREWOLF!!! This is NOT GOOD.... She does not look like a Leah. I imagined Leah as stick thin, awkward, tall, and with caramel-colored hair. Here is what People.com said in the article called "Vanessa Hudgens Auditions for Twilight Sequel New Moon":
"Now here's a role Vanessa Hudgens would like to sink her teeth into. The High School Musical star has auditioned for the part of werewolf Leah Clearwater in the Twilight sequel New Moon, according to Ashley Green, who played Alice in Twilight."I think she'd be great," Greene tells MTV. As Leah, Hudgens, 20, would be a foil to Taylor Lautner, who will reprise his role as werewolf Jacob Black. In the Stephenie Meyer novels, Leah is her pack's lone female werewolf – and a jilted one, at that. Unlike Hudgens's Gabriella in HSM, Leah experiences heartbreak, being ditched by classmate (and fellow werewolf) Sam Uley."
Inside my head I am screaming. Why are the castings letting me down??? First, Taylor Lautner. Then, Kirsten Stewart. Now, Vanessa Hudgens. What is the vampire/werewolf world coming to?? I don't even think I'll watch the sequel now.... Okay, fine, you got me. I can't stay away, no matter how much I hate the actors and actresses.
If you don't want to hear me complain about the Twilight movie, please skip ahead.
I'm going to complain about Kirsten Stewart in Twilight. What was WITH her and her giant teeth hanging out of her mouth the whole time?? (See http://www.freewebs.com/twilight01234/Kristen%20stewart.jpg for pic.) The entire movie, she was sitting there with her buck teeth, looking totally awkward with no makeup and bad hair. Did the movie not get enough money to get hairstylists and makeup artists? Obviously not, because Alice, Rosalie, and Esme looked stunning. Even Rob Pattinson looked great with a tousled handsome classic look.
Now, for one, the movie was totally rushed. Here's how it goes: They meet at school. Edward goes missing for about 3 days. He comes back, totally friendly - "Oh Bella let's be best buddies!" - and invites her over. They meet his family. They climb trees. They talk in the woods. Now here's the rushed part - "I'm a vampire, blah blah blah. Are you scared?" In a breathy voice I'm sure she meant to be attractive in some misguided way, Bella replies: "I'm only afraid of losing you." Now, how could that be? You've only been with him for about 2 hours your whole entire life. Liar liar pants on fire. You're only afraid scary Edward will gobble you up if you say the wrong thing, Bella.
Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love the books. The movie was just... disappointing. Not the movie. Just the bad acting. Rob Pattinson did his share of bad acting too, you know. The whole movie he looked awkward, uncertain and uncomfortable. Edward is supposed to be perfect, graceful, comfortable, and able to withstand almost everything. Movie-Edward is the exact opposite.
All right, I should probably stop now before I go too far. Please, please, PLEASE comment and tell me your thoughts about the Twilight movie and how you feel about Vanessa Hudgens in New Moon. As it says on the top of my blog, I love to hear from you!!
P.S. Okay, okay, I know in my last post I promised to put anything Twilight related in the side text box about Twilight. Sheesh, don't be judgmental. I cheated, okay??

twilight-related updates

Just to let you guys know, on the side I have started a new thing with updates about the New Moon movie and Midnight Sun, the book of Twilight from Edward's point of view. That way all of the Twilight news won't crowd my actual blog (just the side of it). :D Now you can be sure everything in my blog is all about me and not about my obsession with Twilight!!

"Taylor Lautner May Keep Role In Twilight Sequel"

""You can't keep a good shape shifter down.

Taylor Lautner could reprise his role as Jacob Black in the Twilight sequel New Moon, Entertainment Weekly reports. Summit Entertainment is expected to announce its decision as early as this week for the next film based on Stephenie Meyer's vampire series. A decision that will make many Twilight – as well as the Lautner, 16 – very happy.

"Jacob is a totally different character in New Moon," Melissa Rosenberg, screenwriter of both Twilight films, tells EW. "He's a foot taller and huge – and he's supposed to look 25. It's really a question of whether or not the same actor can play the role."

Even Lautner recognizes the difference in his character and told MTV last month he had been working out he enough to gain 19 lbs. and had 10 to go! Kristen Stewart, 18, is set to return as Bella Swan, and Robert Pattinson, 22, will definitely be her hunky vampire love interest, Edward Cullen.

The sequel will be directed by Chris Weitz and released Nov. 20, 2009. In a recent PEOPLE poll, readers overwhelmingly chose Lautner to stay on rather than be replaced by Michael Copon, 26, in the more mature role. Rosenberg adds, "'Everyone would love to keep him. We all think he's the loveliest person ever." ""

All I have to say is... Yuck!! Get rid of Lautner! He can't pull off the mature Jacob!

all that babysitting paid off!

I had my heart set on a new purple nano... my 3-year-old one is silver and I do not like it!... so my mom and I took a trip to Wal Mart (she had to return stuff there anyway) to see the nanos. They only had silver and black, my two least favorite iPod colors. We went to Target, only a block away, to find that they had only my three top favorite iPod colors: purple, blue, and pink. The purple was strange, it looked more like indigo in real life - it had a funny shade of blue mixed in. The blue was cute of course, but it wasn't me... So, I got the pink!!! I got a nice case to put it in that totally matched the shade. Then a warranty, of course. My old iPod couldn't play videos, which was a bummer, so I've been saving up. I am too much of a saver though, because I let my accounts overflow to $500 before I let myself spend $200 on a new iPod and iPod accessories. I was actually thinking of getting a new phone, too, but... Nah, I can't blow all my money that fast! I must go back to my saving ways....

my first post of 2009!

It hardly feels like it is 2009! It's sort of surreal. I wonder what will happen in 2009. I would write 2009 things I hope to do this year, but that would be a little bit long and it would take forever. Instead I'll write nine things I hope to do/accomplish this year - New Year's Resolutions.

9. CONTINUE TO BLOG. I think it's good to blog, but better to journal. That's why journal's #4. Hey, I'm not trashing blogging, I just thing it's better to let out your feelings for only you to see and not the whole world.

8. HAVE FUN. Not that I don't already. :)

7. SAVE MORE $$$. I already do this, but if I'm gonna get into BYU, I better save more.

6. HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE... No comment.

5/1. READ THE WHOLE BOOK OF MORMON. This should be number one, but I'm too lazy to rearange the whole list. So, this is number 5/1. I need to revive my testimony.

4. WRITE IN MY JOURNAL...! I know, I know, I blog a lot but it's not the same. I'd be nice to have something with all my inner feelings and thoughts. A blog records what you've done but not in full detail.

3. MAINTAIN GOOD GRADES IN SCHOOL... Study more, pay attention in class, and the like.

2. BE MORE WILLING TO HELP AROUND THE HOUSE. Do chores with a good attitude. Do stuff I'm not asked to do.

1. BE NICER TO MY SIBLINGS, especially my 10-year-old brother Andrew, because we fight a lot and don't like it when we do.

I hope you have as good as a 2009 as I hope to have!! Love you all!! :D
